For demo, we charge flat Rs. 250/- to be paid in advance before the demo in the Plus Plan. In the Basic plan, the customers are supposed to pay Rs. 1000 as Cooknextdoor commission before starting the service, post which they can continue paying their cooks directly at the end of every month.
You can either pay the sum through the website after logging in to your account or through Cooknextdoor App (available on Playstore). The payments are to be made at the start of every month.
Cooknextdoor.in gives you flexibility to change your cook during the service period. The process is very simple and easy. Just raise a request through the website, app or a call to the helpline and a new cook will be provided within the next 72 hours, subject to availability.
You can do all personal profile changes in profile area after logging into your account. If you have not hired any cook just make the changes in your profile and you are ready to go but if you already have hired a cook please change your address and inform us by writing on the customs support mail ID from your registered email ID. If the new address lies in an area where you current cook doesn't service, Cooknextdoor.in will help you to choose a new cook with no additional charges. Your billing cycle will remain unaltered.
We follow a monthly billing cycle with payment to be made at the start of every month. Eg. if the service start date is 22nd June, then the payment for June is due on 22nd June (pro-rated for June month). The next billing cycle resumes on 1st July (after adjustment for the previous month) on which full payment will be due on July 1st.
On completing the registration for demo, your cook will visit you within 72 hours. The demo covers a meal for 2 people cooked in your kitchen by Cooknextdoor cook. The payment needs to be done through the website/app before the demo start date.
At Cooknextdoor, we take periodic feedback from our customers where you are asked to rate the service on different parameters and judge the overall satisfaction of the service. You can also give us a daily/weekly feedback through the Cooknextdoor app or the website.
Your service will be activated within 72 hours after the request is placed. You will get a call from Cooknextdoor team to schedule an on-boarding at your preferred time. The onboarding process involves us to understand your food preferences, your dietary choices and other details.
Cooknextdoor will have to bill you in case you are on a leave as otherwise the cooks will go unpaid for the days on which you will be leave. The cooks aren't assigned any other job in the same time-slot so that you can resume the services once you are back just the way you did before.
We work on 6 working days a week policy with Sunday Off For All Our Cooks. In case of any emergency, cooks are allowed to take One Emergency Off in a Month. It's compulsory for them to inform respective customer and give the reason for taking leave.

Our cooks can take 5 Festival Leaves in a Years based upon their religion or faith. Please Note, any leaves taken by cook must inform to customers if not it will be considered an Unplanned Leave/Leaves and customer will not be billed for such leaves.
